Saturday 19th September 2009 saw an open day for the public to come and see the recently refurbished Scout and Guide hut.
Many months of fund-raising saw the hut painted and decorated with the assistance of two prisons from HMP Hewell with repair work to the plaster in the kitchen including a splashback added. The toilets were also treated to a long overdue lick of paint together with the front of the hut freshened up. and thanks to a Grass Roots grant, the windows have also been replaced.
Residents were invited to come and see the improvements and also get their cars wahed for a donation during the group's annual fund-raising car wash.
