Welcome to Southcrest Veterinary Centre, the longest established practice in Redditch. We are centrally placed and care for all pets as well as having vets with a special interest in reptiles and birds.

Our five vets and qualified nurses provide a wealth of experience between them.

Surgeries are held every day,except Christmas Day.Our emergency out of hours service is mainly at our own practice but very occasionally at Astwood Bank.

Our many facilities include :-

We have seperate kennel facilities for cats and dogs, we are currently developing an exotic pet unit tailored to meet their individual needs. In addition to the surgeries detailed below we have nurse run clinics offering a variety of extra services.

Cramar Veterinary Practice is a brand new surgery offering a unique service, which ensure that not only can we offer the highest standard of veterinary medicine to your pets we also support the Cramar Cat Rescue and Sanctuary.

Our patients and their owners benefit from the rural setting and easy parking, brand new facilities, equipment and a friendly, dedicated fully qualified team which allows us to provide you and your pets with excellent continuity of treatment and care.

In line with the ethos of the charity, we have kept our fees to a minimum especially on routine procedures such as vaccinations, neutering, identichipping etc

The best bit of all is the knowledge that every penny spent looking after your pets welfare, directly benefits the homeless and unwanted cats that are rescued, cared for, re-homed where possible or offered sanctuary by The Cramar Cat Rescue and Sanctuary.

Mrs McGettigan has been practising veterinary
medicine in Redditch for over 35 years.

 

The surgery was established in its current
purpose built premises in Astwood Bank
some 15 years ago. It's a quiet location
with ample parking for clients.

 

There are several large 'walk in' dog kennels
for all sizes of dogs, and several cosy cat
kennels in separate areas, so the cats can
get some peace and quiet!

 

For inpatients that stay with us a bit longer
there are large gardens to take daily walks in,
and also a few chickens outside to look at
which perks up even the most unwell dogs!

Inside we have 2 large consulting rooms, one of which has outside access, for those dogs that are a little less 'sociable'! We have a separate theatre and preparation room, and a separate room for imaging with xray, ultrasound, endoscopy and microscopy.

 

Our emergency out of hours cover is all done locally usually at our practice or occasionally at another Redditch practice, so you can be secure in the knowledge that help is not far away when you need it the most.
