The Vine Cottage
Welcome to Vine Cottage.This lovely timbered cottage is situated in the heart of the old village of Astwood Bank, near Redditch, Worcestershire.
Since it was constructed in 1864, it has served as a needle mill, a cobblers shop and in 1906 as the village Social Club, when it was opened by Mr George Cadbury of the Cadbury chocolate fame.
However, old George is by no means the only celebrity to have visited us. Only recently we played host to Mr & Mrs Roy Hudd and before them, members of the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain and the legendary rock band Ocean Colour Scene.
But then as far as we are concerned, all our guests are celebrities - and all can expect the same celebrity treatment from your hosts, Dave and Jill Sealey.
Whats Nearby?
Based on the very eastern edge of Worcestershire we're within very easy reach of many wonderful places both in this county and in neighbouring Warwickshire. Whether you are here for history or sport, for business or holidaymaking, there's plenty to see and do.
Shakespeare's own town of Stratford-upon-Avon is just twenty minutes away, with The Cotswolds, the Malvern Hills, and the elegant Georgian towns of Cheltenham and Leamington easily reached within the hour.
