TJ's Coffee Shop
TJ Hughes Coffee Shop is located at the back of the TJ Hughes department store in the Kingfisher Centre.
It is an independant family run business managed by Sheena Jackett (seen here) and her daughter Kelly who together with their dedicated and friendly staff provide great service and top quality freshly prepared food with a huge choice on offer.
Whether it be a snack, such as a cup of tea with home made cakes like Scones, Victoria sponge and Flapjacks to freshly prepared sandwiches, baguettes and panini's. Alternatively, you may prefer something from the hot food counter such as an all Day Breakfast or perhaps a Jacket Potato with a choice of delicious filling's. There are other tempting delights such as Steak and Kidney Pie, Fish of the Day,Home made Stew or Home baked flan's all served with a choice of freshly prepared vegetables together with mash potato, jacket, roast potatoes or chips.
The sweet counter will have you drooling as you will find all of the favourites including Lemon Meringie Pie, Apple Pie, Fruit flan topped with Fresh Cream and my own favourite Trifle. For the healthy eating there is fresh fruit salad, fruit juices and iced italian granita.

* Thursday is pensioners discount day
As you will see in the pictures below, TJ Hughes coffee Shop has a large seating capacity and a very comfortable relaxing restaurant in which to enjoy your food purchases.
With the standard of hygiene and cleanliness of paramount importance, Sheena is proud of the fact she has gained a 4 star Food Hygiene Award award during her annual inspection and her certificate takes pride of place, on the wall behind the tills, for all to see.
